The session was produced by Chris Thomas, and took place from midday to 1.30pm.The mix was not intended for the album, which had been completed on 6 March 1970. It was to be used in the promotional clip for the song, which was filmed at the Talk Of The Town club in London on 15 March.Thomas mixed out Starr’s main lead vocal track, but retained a second vocal during the first bridge section. Starr sang live over the mix during the filming, with slight lyrical variations and some spoken thanks for the applause at the end.
