The Beatles returned to the BBC Aeolian Hall in central London to record an interview for the corporation’s radio show Saturday Club. The interview was recorded between 2.15 and 2.45pm, and was conducted by presenter Brian Matthew. It was split into three parts and broadcast from 10-11.30am on Christmas Day 1965. The Beatles also performed a 15-second vocal version of the programme’s theme tune, Saturday Jump.
