Paul McCartney y Ringo Starr rinden homenaje a Victor Spinetti

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have paid tribute to actor and director Victor Spinetti, who died of prostate cancer on Monday 18 June. McCartney posted the following message :Victor was a fine man, a great pal and a fantastic actor and someone I am proud to have known for many years. His irreverent wit and exuberant personality will remain in my memory forever. I will miss his loyal friendship as will all the others who were lucky enough to know and love the wonderful Mr Spinetti.Paul McCartneyRingo Starr issued a brief statement:It was a pleasure the time we worked with Victor. Among them was Yoko Ono, who Tweeted:Victor, sleep well. Love, yoko x— Yoko Ono (@yokoono) Spinetti was the only non-Beatle to appear in each of the group’s first three films, A Hard Day’s Night, Help! and Magical Mystery Tour. He co-wrote and directed the stage play of John Lennon’s In His Own Write, and appeared in the video for Wings’ London Town.
