The concert had been rumoured for several days, and was confirmed by McCartney’s Twitter account the morning of the show.Paul will play a special Valentine’s Day concert this evening at Irving Plaza, NYC. Fans were given numbered wristbands and told to attend the venue at 9.30pm. The upper balcony was reserved for celebrity guests.McCartney and his band took to the stage shortly after 11pm, and performed a set lasting a little over 90 minutes.Celebrities in the audience included John Kerry, Steve Martin, Bruce Springsteen, Eddie Murphy, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, Kristen Wiig, Billy Crystal, Chris Rock, Meryl Streep, Lorne Michaels, Steve Buscemi, and Steve van Zandt.Getting ready to rock Irving Plaza!
