De Lane Lea Recording Studios, LondonProducer: George MartinEngineer: Dave Siddle, Geoff EmerickTwo Beatles sessions took place on this day, at De Lane Lea studios in London, and at EMI Studios. The first was a mixing session for the Yellow Submarine soundtrack song It’s All Too Much, written by George Harrison. The session took place from 2.30-8pm. Two mono mixes of the song, numbered one and two, were made from take two, although none were released. It’s All Too Much had been recorded at De Lane Lea in June 1967, and was completed more than a year later, on 16 October 1968.
