Filmación: una noche de día difícil

Following their four-day Easter break, The Beatles returned to London’s Scala Theatre to film the concert performance sequence which marked the climax of the A Hard Day’s Night film. The performance took place in front of 350 fans, each of whom was paid a standard union fee for their appearance. Among them was Phil Collins, then a 13-year-old child actor, but later to find fame with Genesis and as a solo artist.In the film The Beatles are shown miming to four songs: Tell Me Why, If I Fell, I Should Have Known Better and She Loves You. They also filmed others, including And I Love Her and You Can’t Do That, but these were unused in the final cut.
