Four scenes were filmed for Help! on this day, at Twickenham Film Studios in England, two of which featured The Beatles. The first, the washroom scene involving an overactive hand drier, involved each member of the group. The second, meanwhile, was a solo sequence featuring Ringo Starr in a bathroom, and was left out of the final cut.In the evening The Beatles attended the launch night of Downstairs At The Pickwick, a London nightclub. Situated at 15-18 Great Newport Street, London, it was often frequented by the group in the months that followed.
