A triumphant homecoming show for The Beatles, who gave a performance at the Empire Theatre. It was their first performance in the city in over a month, and came in the same week their debut album Please Please Me was released. The Beatles’ setlist on this tour, in which they appeared on a bill with Tommy Roe and Chris Montez, was: Love Me Do, Misery, A Taste Of Honey, Do You Want To Know A Secret, Please Please Me and I Saw Her Standing There.
