Debido a que la ultima nota de la canción era muy alta para Billy, Paul tuvo que cantarla.
From A Window fue editada como single en Inglaterra el 17 de julio de 1964 y en agosto llegó al numero 10. También fue incluida en el álbum recopilatorio The Songs Lennon And McCartney Gave Away en 1971.
Billy J. Kramer es un cantante nacido en Lancashire, Inglaterra y junto con The Dakotas tenían a Brian Epstein como manager.
A principio de los 60 John y Paul habían escrito varias canciones para el grupo y entre ellos podemos citar: I’ll Keep You Satisfied, Bad To Me, I’ll Be On My Way, Do You Want To Know A Secret, I Call Your Name y From A Window.
