Mezcla: debería haber sabido mejor, si me caí, dime por qué y la amo, estoy feliz de bailar contigo, llamo tu nombre

Studio One (control room), EMI Studios, Abbey RoadProducer: George MartinEngineer: Norman SmithThe Beatles were filming their debut feature film A Hard Day’s Night on this day, so were not present for the mono mixing of songs recorded so far for the soundtrack. The mixes were made for both EMI and United Artists, the company with the rights to the film soundtrack in the United States. The session lasted from 10am until 1.45pm.United Artists had urgently requested the songs recorded so far for the soundtrack. Can’t Buy Me Love had already been mixed for mono, and there was no title track. It is possible at this stage that I Call Your Name was to have been part of the film; it ended up on the Long Tall Sally EP, possibly once the film’s title track was written and recorded.Of the six mono mixes made on this day, all but And I Love Her was used. A better mix was made on 22 June 1964, rendering this one unnecessary.
