Only John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were present; George Harrison was still travelling back from his holiday in America, and would rejoin the group later in the day.The first song to be worked on was I Wanna Be Your Man. Ringo Starr added a new vocal in two takes, numbered 14 and 15.Afterwards Lennon and McCartney added their vocals to Little Child. They recorded three takes which were numbered 19-21.
