Olympic Sound Studios, Barnes, LondonProducer: George MartinEngineer: Glyn JohnsThis was the fourth day of stereo mixing for the unreleased Get Back album, and the last time it was worked on until 7 May 1969. Afterwards The Beatles turned their attentions to the single The Ballad Of John And Yoko and the album Abbey Road. Most of the day was spent making mixes of six rock ‘n’ roll cover versions, although only one – Maggie Mae – was released. At one stage there was talk of an album full of oldies, but it too came to nothing. The original songs were I’ve Got A Feeling and two versions of Dig It. Glyn Johns then made mixes of Maggie Mae, Shake, Rattle And Roll, Kansas City, Miss Ann, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Blue Suede Shoes and You Really Got A Hold On Me.
